Free Downloads - You are probably saying to yourself "ya right free!". Nothing is free any more. These downloads are free all we ask is that you take 1 minute and register with us. We do not harvest, sell, trade or barter e-mail addresses with anyone period. Many of the files in this section are copies of ones from other web sites and vendors. We will tell you their name and how to get to their web site. Sometimes you will find a more current copy of the tool on their site.

DNS Tools - Web based Network
This is a web site with a complete set of DNS tools, ping, routeis, mail test, etc. Gives great reports on the issues with connections. We use it to test email connections.
Filezilla FTP V2.2.32 Network
Excellent FTP client program. GNU license and very flexible. This has become our replacement for WS_FTP.
MDB Viewer
MDB Viewer Plus is a freeware viewer plus an editor for Access MDB files. It requires no install to run provided that Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) is installed on your PC Not a full database development solution, allows you to view MDB files. Works on managed systems.
Notepad++ V4.0.2 Utility
A great replacement for the Windows notepad. Excellent for program developers with syntax highlighing for many popular languages including Visual basic, Java, SQL, XML and many others.
OLEDB Universal Data Acess (UDA) Tool V6.1.3.2 Database
This is a free trialware tool, good for 30 days. It is a SQL query tool that can use ODBC Data Source Names (DSN) or OLEDB data providers. Good tool for replicating web access to database.
OSQL DOS SQL Database
OSQL is an old DOS SQL utility that is run from the command line. We have used it to automate some batch processes and schedule them using the Windows scheduler.
Ping Plotter Network A
TCPIP utility that is a graphical RouteIS and Ping command. Shows you a graph of each jump and min, max and average time to each jump.
Process Explorer System Process
Explorer for Windows is a system analysis tool. It like the Task manager but on steriods. It allows you to see what processes are being run on your system and which DLL's are being used. Very good for tracking down DLL issues.
Query Express Database
Very basic SQL tool for SQL Server, Oracle and OLEDB connections. Single file, no installables. Great for "Managed Systems
TOAD for SQL Server V3.0.0.786 Database
TOAD is a database adminstrator tool. This version is for SQL Server databases. Very poerful, full of features, big learning curve. 365 Day freeware then $600+. VS2005 UI
Virtual Daemon Manager ISO
Ver 4.0.3 Utility This utility allows you to read a file with an ISO extension and have it be mounted like a CD-ROM with a disk Letter. Many vendors are distributing software in ISO format. ISO can also be burned to CD or DVD easily.
VNC - Networking V4.1.2 Network
This utility when installed on 2 PC's allows them to remotely access each other. This is very useful for remote development and support work.
WinSQL Database
Must have utility for DBA and programmers who deal with databases. Any databases. Any ODBC driver can can be used with WinSQL and it comes with optimized driver for many of the popular DB's. 30 Day trailware, reverts to shareware.
ZoomIt Utility
If you do presentations or video training classes this is a must have tool. Allows you to zoom into a portion of the screen, draw on the screen and a break timers. A Microsoft freebie, no longer.

Contractor Downloads - These are specific files used by Phoenix Workgroup Computing contractors and employees. These are standard sets of tools we use to help manage, document and deploy solutions for our customers. Some of these files and tools are specially developed for the soltuion process we are implementing. If we feel a tool can use shared with others you will find copies of it in one of the other areas.
